Leo Tanguma: A Great Humanity - A Podcast Listening Party Presented by Archives of American Art | Smithsonian Institution

01/31/2025

Dikeou Collection, in collaboration with the Archives of American Art | Smithsonian Institution, is delighted to celebrate Leo Tanguma, a Chicano muralist who has reshaped public art in Colorado, Texas, and beyond. In a new episode of the podcast Articulated: Dispatches from the Archives of American Art, Leo Tanguma: Great Humanity, Tanguma describes more than seven decades of painting for and with the community, and the Archives and Dikeou Collection are teaming up to toast his ever-growing legacy.

Please join us in welcoming Leo Tanguma and his collaborator & partner Jeanne Stanford Tanguma for an in-person podcast listening event with a casual follow-up conversation with Ben Gillespie, oral historian at the Archives and producer of Articulated. Enjoy light refreshments and warm company on a winter night in Denver. This event is free and open to the public.

Articulated is sponsored by Next50, the Denver based national foundation that works towards creating a world that values aging.
