The Dikeou Collection is pleased to present Video Dialogue: Lizzi Bougatsos on Thursday, May 19th from 7-9pm at the Dikeou Pop-Up: Colfax, 312 E. Colfax Ave. This event is free to attend and open to the public. Tasty gyros, dolmas and other Greek delights and beverages will be served.
Video Dialogue is a screening series that focuses on one artwork/artist in the Dikeou Collection and uses videos to explore tangential connections to expand the conversation around the selected artwork/artist. Each screening will feature one hour of video clips assembled from common and unconventional sources and thus serve as an unofficial video conversation about the artwork/artist. Organized by Saniego Sanchez and Jenna Maurice.
Video Dialogue: Lizzi Bougatsos will explore the intersection between visual artists and art-bands. Beginning with Lizzi’s three art-bands: Angelblood, Gang Gang Dance, and IUD and moving onto more infamous acts from Detroit, LA, Richmond, Hull, and NYC.
