“Mrs. Lily Auchincloss Wallace” is an outdoor installation inspired by the monumental floral displays in The Great Hall at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is continuously funded by the major eponymous donor (1922-1996). A reception will celebrate the installation of a new floral arrangement on the vernal equinox. Devon Dikeou will perform “Hello Deli” and “Ground Round,” two songs from the former Mad Magazine. Subsequent floral installations will take place over the course of 2020 on the summer solstice (June 20), autumnal equinox (September 22), and winter solstice (December 21).
