Video Dialogue: Momoyo Torimitsu will serve as a commodity chain analysis of the “bunny,” looking at the components, processes, and actors that contributed to the origination of the bunny as a commodity and cultural icon that is consumed by the market/you.
Video Dialogue is a screening series that focuses on one artwork in the Dikeou Collection and seeks to expand the conversation around that piece by using videos to explore tangential connections to the artwork. Each screening will feature one hour of video clips assembled from common and unconventional sources and thus serve as an unofficial video conversation about the artwork/artist. This series is organized by Sañiego Sañchez and Jenna Maurice.
Videos will start at 7:25pm…Bunny related snacks to be served along with refreshments.
