Thirii Myint is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Denver and currently serves as the assistant editor of the Denver Quarterly. Her interests include astrology, the occult, trees, and babies. Her first book, THE END OF PERIL, THE END OF ENMITY, THE END OF STRIFE, A HAVEN is forthcoming from Noemi Press in early 2018.
Mathias Svalina is the author of five books, most recently THE WINE-DARK SEA from Sidebrow Books. He is an editor for Octopus Books & runs a Dream Delivery Service (https://dreamdeliveryservice.tumblr.com/), which will be delivering dreams to subscribers every day in Denver from June 15th to July 15th.
Like Alicia Ostriker, Ellie Swensson wonders when poets decided to stop being actual people. While searching for an answer, she received the Ohio Poetry Association’s William Redding Memorial Poetry Prize in 2012, and her work was published in the pages of Exile, Hive, Rathalla Review, Interkors, witchcraft magazine, and the Mutiny Information Reader among others. She received her MFA from Naropa’s Writing and Poetics program in 2015. Ellie currently lives in Boulder, CO where she is the Founder and Executive Director of a shared studio and event space for writers called the Boulder Writers Warehouse (https://boulderwriterswarehouse.wordpress.com/).
The Dikeou Literary Series is currently organized by Mairead Case. Case is a working writer in Colorado, where she is also a PhD student at the University of Denver and the Summer Writing Program Coordinator at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. Mairead teaches fiction, poetry, and poetics at DU, Naropa University, and the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility. She is the author of the novel See You In the Morning and Tenderness, a poetry chapbook.
