About the Artist
I am an older artist, sculptor and poet. My work explores themes as I learn about people, myself and the world. I once wrote, “I go in and out of lives like a tourist sees small towns, always awed and fumbling with maps.” I think it is still relevant as I travel around the world. Major themes evolved around immigration, asylum, crossing psychological and physical boundaries in an attempt to live above the line. Major influences include confessional poets and abstract expressionistic painters.
