DIKEOU LITERARY SERIES: MARIE CONLAN, BRIT PARKS, VINCENT CARAFANO, ELLA LONGPRE

The Dikeou Collection presents the twenty fourth installment of the Dikeou Literary Series on Thursday, September 28th, at 7pm, which will take place at the Dikeou Collection, 1615 California St, Suite 515, Denver, CO 80202. Please join us for readings by Marie Conlan, Brit Parks, Vincent Carafano, and Ella Longpre. This event is free and open to the public.
MARIE CONLAN is a Minnesota native currently residing in Colorado. She earned her MFA from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University.
BRIT PARKS is a writer, visual artist and scholar. She received both her Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her poetry has been published in SMEAR (poetry book edited by Greta Bellamacina), RINE, MATTER, PIONEERTOWN, HOUND, and AFTER HOURS. She has exhibited her visual work at Vedanta Gallery, Arena Gallery and Sullivan Galleries. Her films have been screened at Chicago Underground Film Festival and Chicago Filmmakers. She has worked professionally at The Guggenheim Museum, World Monuments Fund, The Whitney Museum of American Art. She lived in Chicago and New York for ten years respectively. She currently resides in Seattle, where she edits and designs ETHER magazine.
VINCENT CARAFANO is from El Paso, TX and lives and writes in Denver.
ELLA LONGPRE is the author of HOW TO KEEP YOU ALIVE (Civil Coping Mechanisms 2017). She has also written three chapbooks, and her work has been published and anthologized widely. Her performance practice includes silk, snow, and eating paper. She is nothing without her chosen family and lives with her partner and two kittens. She can be found in the woods.
