THE UNSEEN FESTIVAL

09/26/2018

The Dikeou Collection is pleased to announce its participation in the second-annual Unseen Festival, presented by Counterpath. Join us for an evening of experimental films and readings from local writers on Wednesday, September 26, at 1615 California St, Suite 515. Doors open at 6pm.

Curated by Jacob Barreras and others, Unseen Festival works with new definitions of experimental art during a full 30 days of screenings and other performances at multiple venues from September 1 to September 30, 2018, exploring notions of the resistant, the excluded, and the unacknowledged.

The program for the evening will begin with readings by Tameca L. Coleman (MFA Writing candidate at Regis University) and Emily Barton Altman (PhD candidate in English and Creative Writing at the University of Denver). Following the readings will be 8 short films by Laurids Sonne (Tadpole Tale; A Fantasy), Gabriele Tosi (The Girl with Two Watches), James Pomeroy (Konstruktion Aria), Alexandre Alagôa (Vortex), Luther Clement (Locus), Paul Jacques Yves Gilbert (Interloop Meaning Lies Inter/Views/Loves), Eric Souther (Ritual and Repetition), and Bernd Lützeler (_galore). Visit the Counterpath website for more details about the readers and presented films.
